Drake Martinez???

Any updates on Taylor's brother Drake? I see he has 2 offers, one from us and one from SDSU. Is there just not that much interest in him or is he going to be a late bloomer in the recruiting process?

From what I hear, a lot of schools waiting to see how he does his senior year on either side of the ball before extending offers. He'll be one of those late offer players for many schools.

Sounds like both Stanton and his brother are working on him. If he doesn't come here it won't be because they weren't trying to get him too. The other problem is that Drake projects as either a RB or S or OLB at the next level... we might not have room at those positions soon. But I think they would take him as an ATH and plug him in where they need him most... honestly I would love to see him as either a RB or Slot WR.

I guess I am kind of surprised that he hasn't committed yet, which is one of the reasons I thought he was only going to be a Junior this year. I remember reading some articles about him and it seemed like he was really proud of his brother and was totally behind the Huskers.

He has a weird recruitment, rated pretty high yet only 2 offers. Especially No offers from the Pac 12.
IMO he might be to big for safety, if he is already 205.

205 is not to big for a safety. Corey Cooper, Harvey Jackson and PJ Smith all weigh in at 210. Perfect size for a safety IMO.
