I wasn't that impressed with his film anyways. He doesn't bring a strong explosion at the point of contact on his run blocks. I suspect he will struggle to make it there and may not make it as a starter. I can already tell every single person in this thread that Michigan will be going after Tackles ranked much higher than him for the 2014 class. He is a body to them, not a play making offensive lineman.

Our coaches have been working on other guys for a while already. Remember the offer to the JUCO OT was done during the dead period. So they have been working on this for a while.

Get a couple of the JUCO guys and have them play for two years and have the coaches work their butts off and land some solid OL recruits for the 2014 class and then this Dan Samuleson guy becomes nothing to us.

Not necessarily. This is a double whammy because if he pans out...not only does it hurt us in losing him, but hurts us in the fact that we play him every year

No you/we should not be positive about this. It sucks there is no way to sugar coat it. Hate to lose at anything to a conference opponent. We are in dire need of OL help so hope the coaches can make something happen. Here is to hoping we can close on some OL recruits as we definitely provide some attractive opportunities.
