I was overwhelmed by the love and support offered to a fellow poster who most if no one really knows. The human spirit is alive and well in this community. I never knew I was involved with a group of people that cared about eachother, outside the fact that we all love the Huskers, enough to offer sincere encouragement and help.
This is not a bag on people or that I had preconceived ideas of what type of people are in this community, I guess I just never thought about it. Then today a fellow poster comes in today and thinks enough of people here to share his dispair. How hard that must have been to type those feelings, and he shared it here among people he doesn't know. I can only imagine the depths of his pain and his life outlook. To see people step up and offer kind words and even more, themselves, is amazing to me.
I am long winded here, but I was just overwhelmed by the support, and it wasn't even for me, and I wanted to share how proud I am to be a part of the BYC Community and to be associated with you all. Peace.
Well put, 602. I keep telling everyone we are building something amazing here, something you can get other places. I think today is a shining example of what I'm talking about when I say that.
I see a lot of the "behind the scenes" stuff like this with private messages, etc., but today it's out there for the world to see and I couldn't be more proud of this site and this message board community.
Very grateful to everyone - the originals and the new folks - for what we have now and what we're building for the future.

That being said - UV for you PittHusker, as this is exactly how I feel. I read on here daily and I feel like I know many of you guys personally although(as far as I know) I've never met any of you.
This is a pretty cool place and the support that is shown toward another guy going through a struggle is absolutely insane! (in a good way)
