Love it. A kid that understands that if you believe in yourself and put in the work, the playing time will be there when the time is right. It's very simple. I don't want to pile it on AG for transferring because I don't know what his personal issues where for sure, but this kid seems to have his head squarely dialed in and I expect he will succeed because of that. Can't wait to see him get his first carry.

I have always loved this kid and I threw a small party in my living room when he committed convinced that we got a steal. I'm glad to see many people are coming around to my way of thinking! Remember, Roy Helu was a 3-Star running back as was Ameer Abdullah. Cross has the tools and maturity to turn into a leader for this team from the get-go. This is the type of kid programs can be built with. I love the idea of getting him into a fullback role as well, would be a heck of an athletic fullback.

It is easy to pile on AG. We all hate it when we really wanted him as a 5 star TX player to come here and star for us. Fact is Brooks and Curenski and some other kids with talent havent played and maybe could have. We havent been there at practice but when the pros still take a chance on them, maybe they could have played in a different system. There are times when systems just dont work for some kids. I hope Cross can come in and do well. AG has a lot of talent but he may be right and he may be better suited for a more wide open offense. Cross may be that bruiser that turns a two yard gain into a seven yard back backer, and makes us impossible to stop from getting a 1 yrd first down.

Haven't you guys heard? According to some 'fans', Imani Cross was a wasted scholarship on a player who will never play at the FBS level.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Guys like Aaron Green are better off playing for someone else. We need guys who will compete and be part of a TEAM!
