the coaching fraternity/carousel is crazy how so many bad coaches get recycled (Cosgrove is one example) when there are so many great coaches that need to be given a shot....this is one thing I like about Pelini bringing in some guys he mentored and worked with ... USC just let one of their great former players who was a GA there get away and hired Marvin ... Sanders of course who is a great coach himself, but they let go of a guy who is a great young coach, 12 years of NFL experience, high character, great at coaching up talent, and someone who can go into these young mens homes and recruit .... it just seems hard to break into that 'fraternity'...I dont think coaches have to go after ''big name guys'', if they have had the opportunity to see greatness in some of the coaches just starting out ..
