I am making my way to Montana from Lincoln today.... 14 hours of lonely highway....
What's the worst long drive you've completed?

"In the deed, the glory"
I-5 between San Francisco and Los Angeles is pretty darn awful, though everybody treats it like the Auto Bahn, so there's that.
Coming back any time soon?
Pierre SD to Chula Vista Cal. or Algona IA to Dryden Ontario Canada both were really long
I'm not sure when I will be back... trying spring game.
When I lived it Fort Collins I would go through Wyoming and that was always awful
Goal in life is to make the Huskers Illustrated Hall Of Fame
I will be travelling at terminal velocity of this car through Wyoming.
Where in Montana are you going? Heard good things about Bozeman. Sneaky expensive up there, though.
I once drove from Omaha to Chicago next day drove to Milwaukee. 2days later back to Omaha. 2 days later made the trek to Sacramento then down to LA
I always did...........its a long lonly stretch thats for damn sure
I-80 anywhere in Nebraska and Iowa
Missoula... not to far from some amazing views like glacier national park.
Topeka, Kansas to Red Lodge, MT... at least I-80 will get you there faster.

Guess that rules you out for the Wednesday night festivities. Too bad.

Tucumcari to Lincoln. Most boring drive ever. Throw in a brokedown volkswagon van in Dalhart Texas for a couple days and you start to think you're in a bad dream. You may have cops break into Radio Shacks for you, you may lose your keys in your car while sleeping in the Cimmaron Grasslands, only to find them in the filling of your sleeping bag, miracously placed in there by uour pant pocket through a 1/2" hole, after taking all the seats and carpeting and moldings out of your car with no success, you may get pulled over in Oklahoma in the same place for different things 3 times, you may find yourself asking a tweeker, screaming at his girlfriend thru a pay phone, at 4 in the morning, to help you load up a motorcycle that you just drug 100 yards down the road hanging by a tiedown strap, only to find that upon arrival in Lincoln, that sound you heard from the back end of your car was the hitch ball slamming up and down because you broke off the nut when you hit that curb and somehow, miracuously you didn't lose the trailer from the middle of Kansas. This is a creepy stretch of America that should be avoided without medication. Aren't you glad I didn't include the rest of the trip west to Arizona
Been there, done that.
OK, I lied. At least you could never call that boring.
Don't ask. I'm working up to 4 million miles at this time.
Once drove from Barstow to Omaha in one jump (1500 miles ~)
lesson learned from Bob........dont drive women anywhere
Especially women with horses and false motivations
