How much would it help us if the badgers win? I think that's what it will take to crack the top ten by year end.
Are you asking for the sake of SOS? I would think OSU losing would look a lot worse on us than the benefit of a Wisconsin win.
Kind of a mixed bag. You beat a team twice (assuming a win in the CCG here) that beat a team that waxed you by that many. Kind of a push at best, IMO.
I don't see this as a strength of schedule debate at this point. Assuming we're in, we're playing Wiscy regardless. I would be more concerned about how confident UW is by that point.
If Wiscy wins out, they will roll into Indy quite confident. That won't be good news for the Huskers.
If the Badgers split, maybe beating PSU and losing to OSU, they will enter the CCG with similar confidence levels as when we first played them.
If they come up empty against both PSU and OSU they might be running on empty by CCG time. How those games actually play out could affect things as well, such as close game v. blowout, etc.
We already know that if we make it to the CCG we won't be playing the best team from the other division, so I'm more concerned about how beatable they are than how much a win would prop up our SOS.
Would rather see OSU win, better for us and the conference if they go undefeated.
So if Ohio State ends the season as the only undefeated team, do they get the AP vote as National Champions?
Keep in mind, the AP did this back in 2003 with USC over LSU. The AP voters are still chapped about not being a part of the BCS formula.
As for Wisky vs Ohio State this weekend? Kind of liking the Badgers to pull off the upset.
Agreed. It begs the argument that the B1G had a team that, barring sanctions, could've challenged for the NC.
Nebraska Old Gold Knights
I think Wisky is favored at home by 1-2 points....So, pull for the Bucks to pull the upset...LOL...
What time is this game?
Weird Easterner, 230 for those of us not on the east coast.
