I know, one game at a time. We still have to beat Minn and Iowa. However, I read a coment on another site that Wiscy is making some big strides. Yet, when I look on there schedule and box scores it seems like the only teams they put up some yards on were Illinois, Purdue and Indiana. Heck, two weeks ago against MSU they only had 27 yards rushing. Am I missing something? Is Wiscy vastly improved from when we played them? They still make me nervous if we win out and play them in CCG. But is there O really making big strides?
This game will scare the out of me. I hate rmatches.
Feed me to the wolves, and I will return leader of the pack. #FreeDA
Their OL is much improved, but then again so is our DL and OL. It will be an interesting match up if we do indeed end up in the CCG.
I think the last thing we want here is a Wiscy team full of confidence. Somebody wrote this down earlier today or yesterday, can't recall who. I don't think Wisconsin is as good as they have looked. That is inferior competition. Illinois is aweful. Indiana couldn't stop a runny nose.
IF we look forward to the game people are expecting I will say one thing. People worrying about a rematch don't have to. Not in this situation. Title is on the line and this team will be ready. Wisconsin honestly gave us there best shot last time, we took their punch in the jaw and hit them back...a little harder. I see us winning a rematch if we get there. This group of seniors has been to conference championship games and felt the taste of defeat and i think they have learned from it.
Teein' Off on Links
Lets see how they look these final two games. Ohio st. and Penn st. I believe.
So? I am sure Nebraska is not sitting on their @$$ either; we've gotten better as well as a team. An ordinary team wont win some of the games we've won; ugly or not.
I also should remind you IMO Wiscy like you call them lost the better of their QBs for the season huh?,,,,,,,,GBR beat Minnesota,,,yes remind every one ONE GAME AT A TIME "win all out" Coach Bo's mission that must be done,,,,,,,,,,,,c'mmon man!

Our DL has improved, but we have also suffered for injury and just plain beat up.
One this that almost has to happen is we need to get up big leads early the next couple weeks and rest the DL as much as possible.
"In the deed, the glory"
I don't care how bad the defense was they were going against, they are in the B1G... not like they were doing it against Pacific. Anytime you can put up 550+ on the ground, you are doing something right.
They has started to figure out that they are a running team... gee go figure... but they are using to now.
They only throw when they have to, and thats no all that often.
We have improved on the DL, but they are not fantastic at all... what is making them look better in the LB core.
Keep in mind we need to rest these guys as much as possible the next 2 weeks. Ideally trying make it like a bye week if at all possible for the starting front 7 on D. (silver lining is it also helps develope more depth for next year)
I'm not scared of Wiscy Josh, i'll take a quote right from the man himself
If we play our game, we'll be fine.
That doesn't mean a blowout, but i have confidence we have more points than the other team when the clock runs out.
Also - can you retype this part, i can't figure it out.

I am not all that worried about it, I am just making a case that people can't discredit their improvement based soley on who they played.
Understood, i'm guessing this same conversation is on the wiscy boards within the next few days/weeks. It will be a clone of this thread I bet, but with a wisconsin lean
No matter what Wisconsin does the rest of the year ,,The Championship game will not be a cake walk for us..Beating a team twice in a year is a hard thing to do..I just hope the team doesnt buy in to all the hype about them being in the Rose bowl..
We want a something to prove team ,not one with a big head and not taking Wisconsin as a threat..We seen this play out many times and i for one im hoping for a different outcome that what we seen in the past.
This will be nothing like Washington in the bowl game.
