I'm taking my wife to her first Husker game this weekend. I would like some suggestions on what we should do before and after the game.
this will be fun.
Without any doubt you tailgate at the Night Before Lounge and then hit it up again after the game.
Hang out with the students around the main gate and eat Runzas before the game. Then head to the local bar off 8th street for something hit to drink and eat.
If you cant say something nice, shut your damn mouth!! GBR
If your seats aren't under the eave, buy her a balloon to release when we score. If she doesn't mind the walking, take her through the stadium and point out the weight room and other facilities. You could also always line up for the tunnel walk, but I'd probably suggest being in your seats so she can see it on the big screen (and hold her aforementioned balloon). Rent seats, that makes it a bit more comfortable.
I really hope you both enjoy the experience together.

+1 to you all. Thanks for the great ideas! 247 is hands down the best board.
Slightly off topic but did not want to start another thread....if anyone would like to meet up for a drink before or after the game this weekend message me, it's been quite awhile since I've made it to a home game so any advice on tailgating locations or places to prime up before the game are greatly appreciated!
Where does the board suggest parking? 3 adults and a six year old
Embassy Suites is always a party. Live music outside and great atmosphere.
Lot just east of lazlos, right behind the old train depot. Decent tailgating. $20
Its a day trip so no tailgating
Still a decent spot. Doesn't fill up too early. Not more than 10 minute walk to the stadium.
