Ten Failures of the Callahan Era
Special teams: Two words: Santino Panico.
Ha...he's still here...his new Alias is Tim Marlowe!
Well said Skerz. We are in for a very tough game this weekend but am confident we'll win. Wisconsin is a good team and well coached. They will be ready for us and they want the the B1G Championship victory as badly as the huskers so we need to be ready to play a solid 4 quarters of football. I would love for the huskers to make this a blow out win but my gut tells me that it will be a close victory for the huskers. Anyway, good luck huskers. We're ready to become conference champs again.
Bring the Pain-
I unfortantly read that article again and.....man i hate Cosgrove
Goal in life is to make the Huskers Illustrated Hall Of Fame
Buckeye fan here......Good luck to you guys in the conference championship game....since we can't be there I'm rooting for you.
Thanks! Hope to see you guys there next year.
Wisconsin plays a tough north-south run game coupled with a good, but not great passing attack. This is Bo's "Wheelhouse" on D.
Taylor will actually be tougher on them than Miller was because he is a better passer than Braxton, and we now have a healthy Rex, who is a great off-tackle runner, the only place Wisconsin is vulnerable against the run.
The success our team has had over the last 6 games has given our guys a high level of confidence, and we are hungrier than the Badgers.
The game will be hard-fought, but we will play our best game of the season and pull away in the second half to win by ten points.
I was up with you until the last line.
I we play our best game of the year, this thing will not be a 10 point game. This game is likely a close game, but has potential to be a blowout if the huskers can put it all together.
Teein' Off on Links
i agree with this. if we manage to play our "best game of the year" we win by 17+
Trying to strike up a little conversation in their neck of the woods, but it's kinda slow.
Back to the Championsip this week boys, heret be
Two things scare me. First, NU scores to go up by two with under two minutes to play and kick the ball out of bounds. Second, NU has a two score lead midway through the second quarter and a chance to increase on that lead, but they throw an interception in the end zone.
Seriously, nothing. This team has tried almost every way possible to lose games this year, but finds a way to win. It may not be pretty, but NU wins.
Sorta watching the Wisconsin game from earlier...and boy we are straight playing turrible! I really hope we start much sharper.
Nebrasketball is on!!!
Watching the BTN. 4th quarter about to start. Watching how we chose to defend this team. I think aberdaris will have more trouble this weekend.
This forth quarter is reminding me how much I love Rex
For sure. He'll be huge for us Sat. I hope the O can move the ball like they did in the 2nd half.
watching this game.... man, we're going to miss Steinkuhler he was all over the place. Chase Rome will need to play the best game of his career.
That was all I was thinking as well as I was watching the replay. Focused on the defensive line the whole time and watching how well Baker held things together in the middle has me even more concerned for this week. I am having bad visions of Ball popping off 5-8 yards a pop. Can we slow the run game down at all and force them to pass?
After watching the Iowa game I would say the run defense. They were pushing your line all over the field in the first half and then the coaches made adjustments. Nebraska is a lot lik tOSU, need to get out to a fast start and take control. Our OC kept us from putting big numbers up on Wisconsin and ttun. Good luck and look forward to watching you in the Rose Bowl.
