This game we will need nothing but positive re enforcement for these game. We as the Big 10 need to all come together and root for eachother and be brothers and sister for the love of our conference. Go big 10.
If you cant say something nice, shut your damn mouth!! GBR
I don't mind the matchups as much as a thought i was going to. The only 2 that look bad on paper: Nebraska v Georgia and Purdue v Okie St.
I think Mich St beat TCU
Northwestern will surprise some folks against Miss St
Michigan can hang with Spurrier
The Rose Bowl will be a slobberknocker.
I'm not saying its impossible we get swept like some are predicting, but i think we have a fighters chance to come out unembarrassed. That would be a win in my book, considering OSU and PSU aren't playing.

Still don't think conference bowl results are indicative of anything.

it creates perception and stats that people use in arguments. Thats about it.
conference championships would mean nothing if this were the case..
Interesting in your point sir?
Why dont you think they do...
The SEC got it's reputation from these games and so did the Big 12.. I think these conference match ups mean alot to recruits and how well that conference does in bowl games as well as during the year..
We as the BIG 10 need to look like we can play and not the whipping boy of the other conferences..

A few thoughts:
How many of these games get played with lame duck coaches, interim coaches and with teams that have little to nothing to play for?
They take place after an entire month off of game action. Rarely are teams crisp or in form.
Recruiting boosts only really happen if you're winning something of relevance or if you're knocking off the Heisman winner or if you're Vanderbilt or Duke and you need to prove you can get there.
Also, Alabama proved last year that conference championships mean nothing. The SEC's reputation is with BCS domination, not necessarily anything else.
