I live alone so I very rarely drink at home.
Nice selection. Last night I had ranger, myrcenary, and pbr. Tonight clear liquid and aspirin.
The simcoe IPA is a pretty weird beer. Don't even know how to explain it
Smoked wings modus and dead guy on the menu today.
Smoked wings modus? Never heard of that, let me know
Teein' Off on Links
Comma was missing I guess.
Sry. Lil drink in the morning. Actually thought that was a beer! WOW
Never really enjoyed beer until recently after I quit smoking and now starting to enjoy the taste. Looked like a good place to ask what you all drink for an everyday beer and some suggestions for a guy on a budget. Thanks in advance.
Hello JAF, thank you for posting! What types of beers do you like? IPAs? Stouts? Green Bottle Beers? ...
as everyone already knows my favorite is Hops Rising but its like $10 for a 6 pack so not an everyday type beer... its a very good IPA found at Beertopia in Omaha.
if you are looking for a premium beer thats good but not pricey id say... Peroni (green bottle beer) is a good one... Ranger has a very good IPA thats roughly 7 or 8 bucks a 6 pack... if you are new to liking beer to be honest i would not recommend an IPA... id recommend starting with an Ale or a Pilsner... one of my favorite Pilsners is Scrimshaw...
P.S. - Bone Yard Beer Drinkers can we hit him with some upvotes please.

Thanks for the response. Not sure that I have a preference yet. Recently went out to eat at upstream and a couple of coworkers ordered a few rounds and I realized beer tasted pretty good. Have not really drank beer since my days in Japan when I liked the Japanese brews. Really strange how my taste buds have changed, had not noticed food tasting better after I gave up tobacco but beer sure tastes better. Your recommendation for Scrimshaw looks like a good choice to start experimenting with. Have a good one and I will let you know what I think after trying a couple this week.
Modus hands down when exploring ipa. Welcome. Lots of good beers in this thread
Weyerbacher Simco IPA... ... i can not put a finger on why its so terrible but i think it may be one of those beers that brews their beer in old wine barrels... bc something about it is just absolutely terrible
Picked up 4 of Thomas Creek IPA. Details to come later.
So far without taste, the packaging is very funny. South Carolina is not my first thought when it comes to extreme kayaking. The lettering brings back memories of a low rent maple syrup bottle. The back says some funny things about Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix. Basically they want it extreme, but the back says otherwise.
Photos to come.
Front to back
ya ive heard of this before... their main selling point is that status quo statement
Wow. Total overmalt and nothing close to what I was expecting. Heavy citrus on first taste with no escape from the smell of orange t/o. Not feeling to good about this one. I don't drink for color but it has a real nice one. Not very pale at all. Pics to come. Not going to recommend for someone who likes real IPA's.
damn. why do people add orange flavor to an IPA!?!?! Blue Moon is about the only beer i've ever tried with a citrus ting to it... and i HATE it when i forget to tell bartenders to not put an orange in the beer. IMO its way too much at that point
just got the Samuel Adams winter sampler.......so far the Chocolate Bock is very good...more of a dessert beer in my opinion. The fezzy wig Ale is good, nice fall ale.
I am not usually a fan of Samuel Adams but they do come through on occasion.
BTW ordered the Schafly pumpkin ale, it was a great pumpkin, highly recommend. Also....for the fall the "good gord" from Cigar City brewery
I agree about sam adams... they are one of the few main breweries that has good quality variety... never had a sam adams beer that i have hated... then there are companies like boulevard... very good original wheat beer... but any of their seasonals or specialty beers =
Not even going to tie up Verizon's data center with a photo. Hope you get the point. This will make s nice present for management at your company party. People be like all, oh he's kissing up with that fancy beer while you're like smiling inside because of this update.
THOMAS CREEK UP THE CREEK IPA
"Beer for your bosses"
Round two. Bring in the replacements. Most know of this but always a hearty standby when exploring new beers. Redemption song playing in the background.
Had to. Couldn't have it be mentioned without everyone taking a second...
A little tribute to a great man.
