Sorry, it was very good! Complimented my Husker chops well.
Anyone else ever read this as the IHOPs thread, then come in here ready to talk pancakes?
No? Ok. I'll let myself out.

You are not the only one.
You're on the right track Schaefer...pancakes made with beer? Can it be done? Would be a great game day breakfast. I know a guy who every game day has Cheerios with beer.
Find the door. The exit is a pusher, I see you pulling that thing.
I refuse to let this thread go all of Friday and Saturday night without a post.
Had a Sumpin Sumpin, Double Fist, Sone IPA, an Union Jack yesterday. Great day(obs) of those 4, stone is my least favorite. Overrated IYAM
Tonight is a stout night. Started with a couple of these. Staying in tonight. Spent to much money last night.
Teein' Off on Links
I'm going through another wine/whiskey stage. Irish Mist Whiskey and Snap Dragon Chardonnay for me tonight while watching my blue devils
It's a good way to fill up before you drink yourself drunk. I've done it haha

Went to "World of Beer"tonight and had some great beer.
Great Divide Oranelle - very similar to La Fin du Mond. Less filling taste and didnt coat the mouth loke La Fin but very similar taste profile. Great Belgian beer IMO. You can't beat La Fin but this is delicious.
Double Bastard - very new to the barleys wine game but this was a tad underwhelming. Great taste upfront but very boring after that. Maybe that was their goal but it didn't do much for me. If you like beers that finish very smooth and don't have much after taste, you will LOVE this beer. Just not my style. I can understand why people love it though.
Stone Sublimly Self-Righteous Ale - WOW. Incredile beer. If you close your eyes, you'd never know it was a black IPA. I love this one. Great beer. Balanced and delicious, probably my favorite stone brew. Better yet, it was on tap for half price, as the bar was trying to finish it off. I will never understand why a bar would have trouble selling this out. Awesome brew.
I haven't been drinking much lately but it's time to get back in this thread! I just returned from a short trip to Colorado where I picked up a few beers I can't get here in KS.
Stone IPA - Some of you guys already know this is my favorite beer. Still is no matter what bear says!
Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA - Never tried it but have been wanting to for awhile considering the hype it gets.
Stone Ruination IPA - Haven't had it yet, very excited about this one.
Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale and 12.12.12 Vertical Epic - Bought these two on a whim, bear's review has me looking forward to the self-righteous.
edit: I'm really not sure why I can't get a picture to post right side up

Making steak fajitas tonight
I learned this the other day. If you have an iPhone turn it sideways with the home button to the right and the pics will appear right side up. It's some sort of glitch, not sure on who's side.
Quite a haul there. 90 minute is really good but my favorite of those is the sublimely self righteous. Man I love that stuff.
Never had the vertical epic. Interested to hear about it.
Pipeworks is a new brewery in Chicago you will be hearing a lot from in the years to come. This DIPA has an interesting citrus taste that is a bit different and I can't quite pick it up. Really good brew though and one ill drink again.
Hey guys! Haven't been buying any new beers for awhile. I have 8 gallons of bottled home brew in the fridge right now and I can say with the utmost pride that my Chongo Bongo DIPA is a solid . The one thing lacking is thr clarity. I chose to forgoe the irish moss during the wort boil. Tuesday I will be brewing again. Not sure yet what but it will be hop heavy and contain the letters IPA. I hope someone here is able to make the get together. I have a sixer of Chongo with your name on it. Happy Drinking and thanks for keeping this thread alive you selected badgers. Cheers!
