Teein' Off on Links
I spent two minutes trying to figure out what Thursday night Tricia was. Finally got it!
$3.50 is a steal. I need to stop reading this thread. I just get jealous.

3 days since a post...?
Wow. Sorry for the let down. Thought some of you might have made it to the beer expo this weekend. Ive been on the sucks lately. One bottle a night. Trying to get back into shape here on the row machine. Back to beer though, the Maliek Thunder Belgian is bottle conditioning just fine and the longer it sits, the better it is tasting. I think I attacked it a little too soon. I think when we have our BYC party, the Chongo Bongo DIPA should . Be close to distribution. You're gonna like this one!
I really hope im not working that night. If I am working, maybe we can do something the next day and I'll get you Hop Heads some beers.
Still looking for label art. If anyone wants to attack this have at it. I think it would be fun. My art only sticks to nature scenes and happy little trees.
Last night I had, for the first time, Velvet Merlin by Firestone Walker.
Has anyone else had this?
I am obsessed with this brewery. Everything they make is gold. I had the Velvet Merlin and was not disappointed. This is an oatmeal stout with crazy drinkability and incredible taste. As you guys know, I've been drinking, almost exclusively, imperial beers. This is probably the first "session" craft beer I've had in maybe a year or more. The Merlin might be a game changer. I got a pint and all of a sudden I look down and my glass was empty. I had tiger another. I did this 4 times
Hunt this one down. Anytime you see anything from Firestone, buy it. If not for you, for me. Ill but it off ya
I will keep my eyes open but I dont think my chances of finding are too high here.
Nebraska needs to figure it out and get Firestone Walker annexed in somehow. If we do a trade, ill be sure to include some
Got invited to a brewing tomorrow. Don't really know what the recipe is going to be but I will post pics. Keep ya posted.
Dragon milk by New Holland. Awesome imperial stout. No chocolate notes. Just sweet vanilla, coconut and nutty flavors. An awesome brew that is not really in my taste profile but I enjoy it anyway.
Here we go.
Had good beer last night! St. Bernardus Abt 12, Perennial Aria, and Founders Breakfast Stout. All fantastic!
