Can't go wrong with any of those. What else are people drinking today?
Add Odell Pond Hopper to this list x3.
Probably won't do this Pond Hopper again after today. Has anyone tried the sierra Nevada hoptimum?
AWSOME beer ... fully endorse hoptimum. Its strong though, not for everyone
Teein' Off on Links
Thx. Gonna do it. Love my hops.
Those of you that like hoppy beer, what are your thoughts on Hopaluia?
My typical hops rising.
Picture? I know I've had that...
Hopluia has too much citrus taste for me. I prefer others.
I remember i've had it but can't remember how much i liked it. Obviously not that special for i dont forget great beers.
I like more carmelly/hoppy beers without too much citrus. From what BRoss says, it makes sense that it wasn't memorable.

Alesmith IPA, Three Ffloyds dreadnaught, and Stone Ruination for the better IPA's that one could get. All great.
BTW...anything by Cigar City Brewery out of Tampa, get it.
Well, I finally got to the 4 pack i bought earlier in the week.
An imperial Black IPA, something i'm kind of new too. 'Dubhe' made by Uinta Brewing in Utah. Good stuff. Perfect beer for the winter because of that roasted malt flavor it has.
Once again though, a very strong beer, had a IBU of 109 so won't be for everyone. IBU measures bitterness. Something i have come to love but obviously i think it is an acquired taste. This beer would go into the category i like to call the pallet wrecker, along with hoptimum, which has been mentioned a recently.
Three Floyds knows what they are doing... fantastic with every beer they brew
Lot of beer drank today. The favorites were Schlafly Pumpkin Ale (seriously delicious...try it) and Sierra Nevada Tumbler. I love college
Spaten up!! It's Oktoburfest!!
Had a Belgian White last night from Stevens Point Brewery. A little coriander and some orange taste to it. Not too bad.
Did you find this beer in Omaha? (I have a hard time remembering where everyone is from/where they live...
I just went to Uinta brewing website to see if they Dubhe would be anywhere around Omaha and it said its not sold anywhere around here...
If this thread continues to he as successful as i believe it already has been we may need to agree to some package sharing with eachother... someday i'd happily ship a 6 pack of my favorite for a trade of some kind. could be interesting...
Anyone know laws/regulations for shipping alcohol?
Where did you have this?
I live in Chicago, which has a pretty good variety of stores that carry different assortments of beer.
"someday i'd happily ship a 6 pack of my favorite for a trade of some kind. could be interesting... "
^^ Great idea ^^ I am pretty sure you can order shipments of beer on liquor and have it delivered to the door so im' sure what would stop a friend from shipping another friend alcohol...someone please chime in if they know more! I would be more than happy to trade beers.
* edit: i live in wheaton Il, 25 miles west of the city. I usually just say Chicago because its easier.
Did some research...
I’ve gotten a lot of questions over the years about how to ship beer. The act of shipping beer is a simple thing. The packing of these precious bottles and cans is the hard part. And you want your precious homebrew to make it to the competition safely, or that trade you carefully set up with another beer lover to go flawlessly.
Drinking Sam Adams Oktoberfest.
Damn you and I are perfect for each other
