I feel you or bob were recommending some Goose Island beers. What were they again? the place i went had 3 different types other than the normal ones, all females names. Matilda and two others don't remember what the other two were.
Couple good ones I had recently were Founders' Curmudgeon and this black IPA by Spider Bite out of New York. Not sure where you could even get the Spider Bite stuff -- I think they're beyond micro. A friend of mine from Stony Brook had it one time when I was visiting. Pretty great, though. Highly recommended if you can get your hands on it.
County bourbon Stout. They make a few different versions. I've only has the the original but they make a coffee version that is said to be even better.
If you see it, buy it. It's a 100 rating on Beer Advocate.
Matilda, Sophia, Pere Jaques and Pepe Nero are the 4 "vintage" GI brews you would topically see in any decent store. Their site is amazing if you want to get an idea for why is what before the Tap Takeover. It'll breakdown their year round beers. They make WAY more than that and I'm sure the event will have several seasonal brews.

Yeah same here. My supply of beer from Wisconsin is about out... Awesome while it lasted!
My wife's aunt lives in Wisconsin an always brings be some spotted cow. Good beer can't remember the brewers name right now oh ya New Glarus
It's 123 and I need a beer
Got a Stella glass
How were the brews last night!
Lots of big news coming soon to this thread. I have immersed myself in a brewing app on my phone with tons of good recipes. Going to take the next step. I'll keep you updated on the process. This is honestly my new addiction so many beers that are available with the work of my hands. Forget this can't get it in Nebraska stuff. Gonna makem on my own. Need to get 3 kegs going before the wedding.
That's the attitude. I just downloaded an app myself after I mentioned home brewing last week. It's called "HomeBrew Talk". Spent about 2 hours on it on Sunday morning. So many recipes I blew my mind. I need a greater understanding if ingredients and processes before I start but I am blown away by the amount if information out there. Certainly possible for anyone who wants to make their own beer.
My favorite guy at Beertopia just made my week!!! He's the guy I talk to most the time I go in and he told me to try these two beers. Obviously I've already had euphoria tho. But we get to talking and he goes in the back to grab me a surprise. Ill show you what he gave me for free in the next post!!
Nice! I'm having some tonight! BYC Brew Bros, what else should I drink?
(Can't find their downloadable bottles list.)
I think you will enjoy that hop sutra a lot.
I had it on tap and it was way different than the bottle I had the first time I tried it. Let me know what you think. To me it was underwhelming from the bottle and I was sad, then I had item tap and was mindblown.
Glad you found it !
It was great easily 5 chugs. But not in my top 3-5 or anything. But I'm so glad I got some. FYI they sell it in council bluffs if anyone wants it. 1 pack per person tho apparently
P.s. - this is my 9k post!

Also btw. That Oasis ESB is delicious. Highly recommended. 5 chug!
What did you think of the hop sutra?
Tonight my friend
The only new one I had last night was St. Bernardus Abt 12. Very, very good, but the alcohol content sneaks up on you...
I'm going with good ole bud family standing in line at the holy name fish fry tonight boys. No need to break out the goods for a FF
Yes! I love that beer! Finally someone else tried it! It's expensive tho. $20 for a 4pack
Yeah...paid $7 for a bottle at the bar. A lot, but no regrets. I get so many really hoppy beers, it was fantastic for a change-up.
