Thats a big move my man. Have had some good chocolate stouts in the past though. Hmmm.
Do yourself a favor. Look for Brewers Reserve Central Bourbon Aged Stout. It's a cheaper version if the county barrel stout from goose island I reviewed about a month ago.

NICE! You had it before?
Favorite all around beer ever. From taste to packaging to....well you understand.
I understand why you are loving it. It's the taste I imagine when I think of a good ipa.
You are going to love double jack when you find it. It's similar. Just a little less Carmel and a little crisper but overall it is very similar. Huge fan of Modus. The price is awesome too!
That is great news! Glad to see this thread working as it should. Enjoy the rest.
I have never had this before but it was highly recommended. It is by the same company that makes Dubhe. Uinta from Utah. I am very excite [borat voice]
Pictures hopefully will be in the next post below
I bought a six pack of cans. Is that normal for modus?
I dont think Im going to find uinta in lincoln. The only utah brew I could find was the polygamy porter. I'll check the next time in omaha.
This double ipa I'm drinking right now is solid. Maybe above average, but nothing mind blowing
It's like a Hoptimum taste without the strength on the after taste.
Hoptimum does leave some hair on your tongue doesn't it.
It'll add hair to your chest. Tongue too for some. Haha
Had a Green Flash West Coast IPA the other night. It is now one of my favorite beers! Not quite as good as Stone IPA but pretty close.
Whats on tap for tonight?
Just tried that when I was in San Diego. Pretty solid IPA. Quite a fan. The bartender said that's their most popular IPA on Southern California.
Oh you mean this stuff here? Agree with your assessment.
Really interested in this startup in town. Anyone have a review?
Boulder beer co. Mojo IPA and hazed n confused. Good beer n price is fair
Alright gentlemen, big night tonight. Started out with a deschutes jubelale which is a winter warmer that reminds me a lot of Odell cutthroat porter. Next we moved to deschutes red chair nwpa, a pale ale that apparently won the world beer awards best beer award in 2010 and 2012. Really good, definitely one of my favorite pale ales. Finished off with Sierra Nevada celebration ipa. Delicious, but I already knew that!
I'm rambling, but what did everyone else drink tonight?
Has anyone had the tenpin Porter by Ska brewing?
No. But this thread made me turn my car away from Jimmy Johns and head into Lazlos to grab a third stone brown. Thanks for the bump!
