Let me know on that on iBR... Saw it on the shelf the other day
Teein' Off on Links
ive had it once before. but once i drink it tonight ill be sure to let you know/
honestly not sure what to say about it. good IPA. typical SKA. i have never had a beer from SKA brewing that i did not like.
You weren't lying about that squatters. Lethal.
Gonna hit that tomorrow.
it is man. its killer. but sooooooooooooooooooo good... I am so glad that there is finally someone else that can vouch for that delicious beer. sooo good.
its good. i think the reason i have nothing to really say is the fact that if there was a dictionary definition of what an IPA "should" taste like... i feel like that'd be it... its just that typical almost stereotypical taste for an IPA. but very good don't get me wrong.
Obviously below modus then?
what bar in Niagara? I was there when i was 19 many years ago. got incredibly too drunk.
Hoperandi? i'd say so. but not by a large margin or anything. its really really good. just too predictable to get a large and intriguing explanation from me. interested to see what you think.
with this said. its not fair to compare it to Modus Hoperandi bc that is one of my top 5 IPAs. and ive probably tried 100+ different IPAs. so the SKA Decadent is definitely worth trying.
I'll let you know. Modus is my king of beers. Always looking for the next one though.
a can beer is your king? ...
You can get it on tap other places. But I hear what your saying. Another stickler about living in Nebraska.
you should try any Red Lodge beer you can get ahold of sometime. im not sure if you've ever seen me mention spending 6 weeks in montana last summer but for most of that time i was around Red Lodge, MT... they have a local brewery that is very good. spend a lot of time there... buying growlers from there all summer got me through those 6 weeks
Marking down for Red Lodge stories. Gotta hear these. Catch up on Sunday.
All I did was hike for 6 weeks. Went to craters of the moon, glacier national park, Yellowstone, hiked all around the bear tooth range (red lodge), and bitterroot national forest .
Little dive bar called Yank's. It's towards the end of the Clifton HIll touristy area. Had to leave Niagara by 4:30 am to catch a flight so I made sure not to get too bad haha
I was there spring break of 2007. I was thinking about transferring and 2 schools were giving me a look out there Buffalo State University and SUNY-Brockport in New York. so I went to Niagara for St patricks day

Fail on first taste. Improved mildly afterwards. On par with tallgrass.

bad news: gotta start paying for beer again
As my economy teacher once said... there's no such thing as a free beer
