Let's use this thread as an OT discussion thread for beer drinkers...
For Instance as many of you already know my favorite beer is: Squatters - Hops Rising (see photo)
What is everyone else's favorite beer? type of beer? all things BEER!
Also, I will be going to Beertopia here shortly... give me some ideas on what to try and I will post my response/review of it after the game...
if you make consistent contributions to this thread over time you will earn a HOPS crew badge. Once it is received it can never be revoked.

See if they have Firestone Double Jack, you will be happy you did.
Its actually 'Firestone Walker', Double Jack
I'm just not an IPA fan, big fan of a good Grolsch though.
Grolsch is good. I also like Stella Artois, and Peroni's...
I haven't had a chance to drink much while traveling but good ones I've tried around here: hopluia, ranger, and the stout at sun mountain brewery in Colorado are all pretty good
Ranger has a very good IPA for the price... if you want to pay like 6.99 for a very good IPA that'd be it...
Stella and Grolsch are always my first two picks, next would be Zywiec.
Hmm... never tried Zywiec... is it also a green bottle "bitter" beer? may have to look into that today at Beertopia.
Hello, My name is Matt, and I have a problem.
I LOVE IPA beer. Been hooked for 3 years now and love trying new beers on any chance I can. My taste is for stronger flavored beers. High hop content, High IBU rating generally. The more taste the better i say.
Some more readily available beers that i enjoy include Goose Island IPA, Hieneken, Ranger by New Belgium, Octoberfest (Sam Adams), Stella and Peroni
Some beers that may be more difficult to find: Hoptimum by Sierra Nevada, Double Jack by Firestone Walker, and many random Belgium doubles I've been trying at the new bar near me called "Word of Beer'
Please anyone post suggestions of things you have liked, things you would avoid, and maybe even a story or two. If a friend give a you a bottle of beer you haven't seen, taking a picture, tell us what you think.

Teein' Off on Links
Grolsch was my go to beer for awhile. Hard to find it in Nebraska sometimes, even if you do I always check the expiration date. I bought a bottle once that was 6 months expired. I like a hoppy IPA and my beer of choice lately has been Goose Island's IPA. Honkers Ale by Goose Island is a classic too.
Brown bottle Polish lager. They also make An IPA, amber and stout.
When you started this i was confused... thinking is beardown mocking me? haha... (my name is also matt)
St Bernardus is a very good beer too... from Belgium. Pretty expensive tho.. its almost $20 for a 4 pack... yes... a 4 pack haha
Great name sir!
MacAllan Imperial Stout - 10% alcohol content - not cloyingly sweet aftertaste, surprising mellowness with chocolate, scotch, dark red wine, caramel, vanilla, sherry hints of flavor. Two pints of this will set you free
I like oatmeal stouts also, but not a fan of IPA's, and only some ales. On a regular basis, I prefer dark lagers, as they tend to be more refreshing. I always liked San Miguel Dark, if I could get it from Manila and not remade elsewhere.
...It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.
W. C. Fields
I will be attempting to find 3 beers today at Beertopia...
1 - Firestone Walker - Double Jack
2 - MacAllan Imperial Stout
3 - Zywiec ...
Nice, now I want one.
Gods Speed, ibleed!!

I have good news and bad news...
Well, if it's bad news, drink a Cricket's Nocturne Dark Lager or a Leinenkugel Creamy Dark Lager.
The Bad news... Firestone Walker is not allowed in Nebraska... anywhere... and Beertopia does not have that MacAllan Stout... but the good news is I got Zywiec Porter, My favorite in Squatters, and a new one that i've never had before...
