Why is the customer in a "pissy" mood? That should NEVER be the case....I wanna hear this story.
There are only two reasons to date a girl you've already dated: breast implants.
Maybe I'll take this to one of the team boards.
Well the first time I went up (for a wedding, hot bridesmaids) I had some time off and visited the Sandbridge Beach which was awesome cause I went kayaking for 3 hours. It was a blast!
Both times I went up to VB I always stop at Big Sam's Cafe for some tasty lobster, oysters and jumbo shrimp. Can't go wrong with any of the 3 choices. Surprisingly they do have great wings as well.
Thx man! Uv your way. I'll check it out. Threw something on the Hokie board as well. Got them seeds tossed out did ya?
I'm the "president" of a student organization. We sell Chiefs tickets that we get at a discounted rate because we're a 501c3. He has bought at least $3K of tickets from us. With the Raiders game coming up, he wants a lot. No problem -- We've got plenty. But he wants a discount comparable to what we've done for him in the past. He's been good to us and bought 'overstock' that we had days before games. We make a minimal profit, but don't lose money -- That's what we need.
We buy at X, and normally sell at Y.
On two occasions, he's bought at Z because it was days before a game and we needed to dump them.
We're now two weeks before a game, and he wants the Z discount on a lot of tickets. I won't do it. I've got too much time to sell at full price, and we'd take too much of a hit. I know I can sell all of our tickets. If I'm wrong, he can get the discount in a couple of weeks.
Long story short: He thinks he's earned a discount on our hottest ticket by being a repeat customer. Normally, I'd agree. But when I'm raising money to send my members to competition? I'm not killing my bottom line intentionally.
Sorry for the longggg post. Haha.
No problem and yes...yes I did. It was a great day.
Post your stuff in a thread buddy, I just happened to go to the BYC for the 3 or 4th time and happened to open your link. I like it! Usually not enough time for chit chat...
Teein' Off on Links
Who you talking to bro? I'm confused here....
Will do. Appreciate it, sir. The next one will go up.
Me, I posted something on the top of the last page.
Oops thought I showed the poster I was talking to, BTBR
I gotcha, give it to him straight in that case. Give it something like this....
"First off, we love doing business with you and I'm sure you feel the same way. We've helped you out and you have helped us out as well, it's a great business relationship we have and I see it continuing well into the future.
As you may know from a business standpoint our main industry goal is to make the best profit we can by selling all of our tickets. With the game so far in advance it would be in our best interest to start the pricing of the tickets at ($$.$$) price right now, and a few days before the game and we still have tickets avaliable I'd be happy to give you the discounted price for them at that time. I'm sure you comprehend all of this as being a business decision and I hope moving forward we can continue our partnership."
That's how I would handle him if I was you.....
Well said Elroy. I'd handle it the same way. Straight up is the best way to go about things here. WITHOUT being confrontational. State the facts and make sure he understand you appreciate his business
Pretty much my gameplan to the letter.
Beardown -- In terms of being confrontational -- That isn't an issue. He's legitimately twice my size. Man could snap me in half.
If he breaks you in half make sure he takes the bottom half. That half won't harm your ability to post
Never been a problem for me, I'm only 5'10 and 188 pounds and I've delt with massive giants before who could have easily "snap me in half", but when it came to business I had those massive giants crippling to there knees and begging for mercy.....not bragging of course.
No way, he takes your upper half, if you still have your lower half you can still have sex. Plus the majority of men's brains (including mine) is used with their dicks. So you aren't losing much with the upper half.
I hold my own no problem. I'm just saying I'm not terribly intimidating. Part of the reason he's so pissy is because he hasn't been able to negotiate these ticket prices down after four phone conversations.
I think that's an innuendo for sex. Meaning you got some. I can be happy about that.
STOOBIE! maybe you have had that sig pic for awhile but i never see it because im usually on mobile. but i saw that Tmart photo the other day and i was going to use it... damn.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
Pissy customer is late. Sweet.
Worst part of my job is dealing with pissy new home owners... Especially when the males in the couple have no clue anything about construction
