He's been an AD for 18 months and an associate AD for nearly 8 years prior to that. I don't think experience is the issue. He's also fairly young and familiar with the Big Ten which are both pluses in my mind.
Bring the Pain-
Welcome aboard, kelian. Look forward to more of your contributions to the forum.
UV for you!
...It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

Thanks for the welcome! I have to admit I did ask Alvarez if he had brought HIS resume with him when I met him on Saturday at a tailgate. Guess he was bringing a letter of recommendation for this guy instead.
Which I might add is high praise.
I don't really know the athletic calendar, but wouldn't this be an odd time to resign? Unless he was already given the job.
I for one do not care much for Perlman, but will give him the benefit of the doubt here, like most are.
However, do we know if TO had any input on this at all? Didn't he state that he would not have input unless Perlman sought it?
I'm sure he had input.... I think Perlman is a smart man and remembers his last hire in a situation like this and will look anywhere for guidance (hence why he hired a search firm).
Miami fans aren't exactly thrilled with the timing.
Well played, sir.
