Does anyone else get the impression that Bo is not happy with Shawns hiring? Or is a bit concerned? I do. Thoughts?
Oath Before Orders
What leads you to that conclusion?
It's good to be the King.
Just my observation. Look how he has talked and acted. And I believe he, like many here, thought that the hire was going to be in house. Someone he knows and is comfortable with.

No. I Hope he has been busy recruiting, coaching, and figuring out How we're gonna get to the rose bowl. There will be plenty of time for them to talk in January.
I think you're reading too much into it.
Maybe so. Maybe so.
Bo's pissed about a lot of things right now... I actually think he's not concerned about it. Which is a mistake if that's the case.
Not in the least.
I don't think Bo had that great a relationship with TO when all is said and done. This actually gives him a chance to strike up a newer, and better, relationship than the one that previously existed with his immediate boss.
Bo has to learn to deal with adversity with the media and the fans a whole lot better than he has shown currently and in the past. Coaching a major program like Nebraska will always have its ups and downs.
Nobody likes to see the head man cracking under the pressure that comes with the job. Regardless of cleaning up his 'attitude', winning will most assuredly put a lot of the other things on the side.
At the end of the day, coaches are ultimately judged by W's and L's. Woody Hayes and Bear Bryant were ***hats, but they won. Their short-comings were overlooked because they won, and they won...a lot.
Nick Saban is a huge dirtbag and treats the fans and media worse than our own coach. However, he is revered across the nation as the best coach in college football. It is amazing how people will look past personal flaws if you win. Especially if you win 3 Nattys in a single decade.
I definitely get the impression Bo is not happy but guess I am not terribly worried. Just following the message boards i think many would be happy if Bo is upset because he will feel the seat getting warmer and either leave or pick things up.
Bo probably wanted Meyers cuz Meyers likes Bo.
So no he probably isn't happy about it.
Is that reason for concern? Not in the least.

If you're smart, you'll always be concerned when a new boss is hired.
Nebraska Old Gold Knights
Very true! And you probably won't (or will at least try not to) convey your concern publicly.
That's right. If you're smart, you probably won't say too much about your new boss. Especially if you're paid three times as much as he. It can be rather awkward.
Pelini handling awkward? Best he was deferential. Or quiet.
Bo winning 4,5, or 6 of the remaining game should be his goal. Do that and he won't have to worry. Anything short of that he should be concerned. Just how I see it.
