Seen it floating around out there.
More BS from that Twitter guy from WV.
Would be awesome!
Where did you see this floating?
Saying North Carolina and Duke would split would be like splitting auburn/Bama or Mich/OSU. Won't happen
Don't be surprised, money talks. And if one of the two teams were to split it would be UNC. They could still play each other every year non-con. Unless Duke gets bitter like Texas did with A&M and refuses to.
We could argue about this with NU/OU 30 yrs ago.

North Carolina and duke are no married in football. Football is what matters. NC will do what is best for NC.
Being in different conferences wouldn't stop them from playing duke in basketball every year.

Tom Dienhart from the Big Ten Network tweeted today that there is lots of chatter about it going around.
If its not from Orangebloods Chris Brown i don't believe it........

They would split... K know this, which is why he is so vocal about Maryland leaving the ACC. He sees the writing on the wall (B1G wants UNC and SEC wants NC state... Duke is left out)
Talking about it on this site.

Interesting teams and speculation....
Rumors VTech and Florida St bidding out...here we go
I don't understand, can you elaborate?
I don't think the SEC really wants NC St, Im sure they want UNC as badly as Delaney does. The real question in my mind is do they want UNC enough to take Duke too, because I don't think the B10 will do that without plans of going to 18 or 20 teams... If the SEC were willing to take both, I think UNC would think long and hard about that offer.
Also, for as many rumors as there have been about GT joining the B10, I still have a hard time buying it... I know the SEC doesn't really gain any TV-revenue by adding GT, but they would certainly be losing if the B10 gained that market. It makes sense to me that the SEC would put the Georgia market on lock-down before letting the B10 into its back yard for recruits and TV.... I just keep getting hung up on the idea that the SEC would want to add NC State & Va Tech when the B10 is going to gain an SEC market/recruiting grounds & the prize of the ACC.... I'll believe it when I see it I guess.
If I were an SEC president I would want to lock-up their current recruiting grounds as much as possible. If they don't its extremely likely that both the B12 & B10 gain ground in the SEC footprint, taking a bite out of the SEC-talent base... All the while the SEC only gains the 2nd best team in NC and Va Tech(whose not any better than Clemson or FSU).
