Please send prayers to my brothers family as he passed away early Tuesday morning from an apparent heart attack. He was only 45 years old and a cancer surviver, including two brain surgeries in the last ten years. He leaves behind a 16 year old son, 14 year old daughter, 10 year old son, and his wife. He grew up a Nebraska fan, but he ended up going to college at Colorado during the glory days of the late 80s and early 90s. So, he became a CU fan, but always a college football fan. He was second team all state QB in Colorado, behind Bill Musgrave, back in the mid to late 80s. He was suppose to grey shirt at CU, but it never worked out. Anyway, please keep him and his family in your prayers.
Our true condolences to you, your family, your brothers family.
Sounds like he was a true family man. Just remember- it's not how long you live, but how you live it.
Sorry to hear of your loss, Dean. Sending good thoughts and vibes your way.
My condolences and prayers to you and your loved ones.
Dean, my condolences. It's difficult losing a loved one. I hope the kids get some grief counseling. I lost my dad at 14 and that would've been really helpful to me back then.
I hope you and your family will find peace with your brother's passing and celebrate his life. We were able to do that as a family eventually and recall the good memories of dad when we were growing up.
Prayers headed your way.
I'm sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family as you go through these difficult times.
Sorry Dean. Thoughts are with you all.
God bless you and your family and grant you the strength to carry you through this time. Words cannot extinguish the pain one feels in a time like this. Seek peace in knowing that heaven got a good one and his presence will be with you as a guardian angel for the rest of your days until you meet again.

Oath Before Orders
Thanks EVERYONE for your thoughts and prayers!
He was a true family man and he lived for his kids. He coached about everything he could, other than gymnastics or volleyball. He impacted more people than just his own family and he lived his life, for sure. He will be missed.
Sincere condolences Dean. I'm so saddened to hear of your brother's premature death. It sounds like he had an admirable life and positively impacted people. Sometimes the brightest stars are the first to burn out. Much love.
