I keep argueing with one of my employees who is predicting a loss @ Iowa, blowout loss to Wisconsin & Michigan & a loss in the 4th quarter at Ohio State. I DON'T SEE THAT HAPPENING, AT ALL! Who is coming with me?
Over, easy call. I'd set the line at 9 1/2.
"In the deed, the glory"
Yes, very good points made! I would argue that having coach Kaz on staff with more insight on stopping running QBs will help. If you look at the cap one bowl we were able to contain their qb from too many long runs and that was with a few pointers from Kaz. I like the fact that he is coming from a program (Iowa) that runs a 2 gap and he had his guys able to corral Denard and other mobile QBs. Coach Kaz and coach Terry J may be the wild cards in our pocket this year. If coach els can have our linebackers ready it could get interesting. Offense: second year, lot of talent we will see. I put 2013 success in the hands of the psyche of the players to avoid the ups and downs of a season.
I would go with the push 8-4. The offense will struggle to score in conference play again, and the defense will struggle big time against the run.
If you guys are honestly debating O/U at 8, you ought to make a killing when more books in Vegas release theirs.
And I say "over" on this line, at least.
