Does anyone know of apartments downtown or close to it that are decently priced and not extremely old? I currently live at the Links, but for what I pay I think i could get something in an area that would be more fun.
You looking downtown or the Haymarket?
Let's see.....Access to golf everyday, pool full of hot chicks all summer, bar within walking distance> not having those options. I get the trying to save money part but iyam the perks outweigh the cost savings.
I mean the Haymarket would be awesome. I'm having a horrible time finding anything online though.
I guess i should call it downtownish.
I need to go tot he Hatch more often. i don't go there a ton, which is probably stupid.
And anything nice downtown would probably cost more. I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna move yet, but I'm thinking about it. I figured the BYC would be a great real estate agent for me.
I feel you on the Links. Lots of perks, but I had a friend who lived there. Just crazy expensive for the size of the apartment your renting.
Hatch is a solid bar.
I use to have a killer place on Havelock. It was hell driving to campus and work, but I loved having three bars and a liquor store within a 5 minute walk. Couldn't beat that.

A boy, a Twitter page, and the aspiration that you follow him. It's what this country was founded upon.
Take a look at Concorde Management and see what they have. They have several affordable buildings around the Haymarket and Downtown areas.
That was a solid place.

Deer park apts are really nice and affordable still have a pool and are relatively close to downtown.
Not sure if this is downtown enough for you but Skypark is pretty nice. They have a large balcony you can grill on and an elevator you can haul your stuff up on. Not to mention a big basement area if you want to have a large party.
Thanks for the help guys. You were right Bruntz, Concord has some solid looking places in the haymarket area. I'm trying to find Skypark online and am having a terrible time.
I do like the Links a lot. But walking distance to downtown, Haymarket, the Arena and the stadium would be pretty sweet.
Having stayed down there on my trip, I concur. Great location.
Your team. All the time.
Skypark is the large apartment complex right next to the State Capitol.
