We don't have a point guard that can create. Really hurts against a 2-3
This season can't end fast enough...
The team looks terrible today
Getting the tar and feathers read, Klein?

A PG would help, but not much. This team just stands around waiting for someone else to make a play right now. Truly pathetic. I haven't seen effort in this game on either end of the floor unless it's from Rivers.
we also don't have consistent 3 point threats (Ray G is as streaky as they come). And we have NO ONE who can get their own shot
ha, no. I just think it's pathetic that we are running the same offense Doc ran against the zone... stand around and wait way to long to pass then put up a desperation shot. Same stuff.
Actually thought Shields played well in spurts. 5 points, six boards. All effort.
Mike, do you cover most of your home games live for 247?
too much standing around on offense IMO... you look at Iowa and they are moving all the time, our guys just stand around hopping back and forth waiting for someone to pass them the ball and then they go one on one.
Not always. Filling in for Bruntz today. He's our go-to basketball officianado.
Shields opens the half with a 3-pointer.
That's because we don't have a PG that can penetrate and force the zone to collapse. The zone is a perfect D for our lack of athletes offense. To beat a zone you need a good PG that can get in the lane and pass, and you need good shooters on the perimeter... we have neither
Shields draws a charge. Making me look good.
Offense comes out a little better in the second. Iowa sleep walking. Gotta start climbing back now.
Shields nearly hits twisting layup, sinks both FTs.
Mike Gesell with an impressive tip in. 45-32 Iowa.
looking much better to start the second half
Impressive run from Nebraka here. 45-37. Talley nails a 3-pointer, Gesell races up the court, Rivers swats him off the glass and Talley finishes with the layup.
amazing what execution and energy can do for a team... just a horrible showing in the first half. Should have started the game like this.
But one of you normally covers it from the arena? I ask because the Iowa site doesn't and I wish they would.
We've covered every home game this year to my knowledge.
dang, could have used that three there by Talley to cut it to 5
Well doesn't Worly cover Iowa and Michigan?
If nothing else Miles has proven that he can motivate and make adjustments... I just wish he had his guys and not Docs left overs
Rebounds and stops are going to keep Nebraska in this. Iowa up 48-37.
