What I'm asking is how many RB's do you think will be selected before Superman in the upcoming NFL Draft?
Also, what do you think Rex's 40 time will be in the combine? Rex's 40 time is very important as to where he will land in the NFL draft as sad as that sounds.
Its tough to say. Just looking at the combine invitees, I'd say 10-15 have a chance of being selected in front of him, but I cant imagine all of them are selected over him.
I'll guess 11 for the sake of guessing.
No, the INS isn't chasing him; Taylor Martinez just runs like that. . . .
Bold prediction....after 12 RB's are selected, the Patriots will create a two-Headed monster with Woodhead and Burkhead.
I definitely think Bill Bellichek hanging around the program last year for a couple of days helps Burkhead's chances. He is a BB guy to the bone. It would be fun if Vegas would put odds on when players would be drafted or by who.
4.69 and 4.75 unofficial in his 40 yard dash times. He really needed to run a sub 4.6.
13 RBs have clocked a 4.5 or better.
Le'Veon Bell ran a 4.52. That really caught me by surprise. That is moving for a 230 pound guy.
If those were his times we might not have 1 Husker get drafted this season
Onterio McCalebb just ran a 4.21 unofficial.
At 227 pounds Knile Davis ran a 4.3.
I'm not surprised by Rex's 40 time. He never had break away speed, I was hoping he could gain some speed. It might be better if he isn't drafted late and signs as a FA with a team that fits him well.
Rex performed about where I thought he did(In his 40 time). That said, I hope he does better in other areas, though I see he is a top performer in the broad jump at 10'5" and a 39" vertical jump.
