I'm sorry for my behavior last night on here. I let my emotions bring out the worst in me and that is not the type of person I am. Even had my fiance pissed at me. I was a punk to Meyer and he happened to be a convenient target. I love this place and all of the information that is presented. Sorry guys, truly sorry.
Yup, I could have handled things much better myself. I think we can all agree that what we saw last night was embarrassing and not something we were expecting.
No worries. Very emotional for every Husker fan. I would much rather have passionate fans that can still look at themselves in the mirror the next day and/or admit to a weak moment, than have a bunch of bandwagon hooligans on this board.
I think we all had some very descriptive ways of letting our emotions out. We all stand together as a fan base that is extemely proud of who we are and where we're from.
I'm wearing my "Red" today and I'll be wearing it tomorrow. The chest may not be pushed out, but the shoulders will still be square.
I'm still a Nebraskan and the CornHuskers are still my team.
Now as a team and a fan base how do we go forward???
Obviously with a whole bunch of class!
While I'm a passionate Husker fan, life has taught me to keep things in perspective. I don't like losing, but I'm not going to let what happens on the field affect me too much. I'll objectively offer my thoughts on the team, but I don't attack anyone for what they post. I may disagree with them, but I'll respect their right to express their thoughts. I expect the same in return. However, I don't regret down voting the Iowa troll last night.
We all have our moments, but how people conducts themselves on here is what makes this board so great.
Up vote to you BRHC and Stoobie.
thats why I stayed off last night
Goal in life is to make the Huskers Illustrated Hall Of Fame
Ditto. But my poor dog...I had to keep reassuring him that he was, in fact, a good boy and had done nothing wrong despite the occasional (okay, frequent) outbursts of profanity. It's a beautiful day today, and we're going to the dog park to walk it all off.
It is what it is. We are a very passionate fan base.
Did you even post. I must have missed it.
A couple times. I was unhappy with the influx of folks dropping on the board to to post negatively.
In retrospect, a lot of us were displeased with what we saw out there. And you know what, if it's an ugly baby, that's what you call it. That defense was a really ugly baby.
