If Marcus gets back home without committing to Kentsucky, I think he sticks.
i'm gonna say if he doesn't commit to Kentucky by Wednesday... he sticks.
Wonder if Marrow is telling him we are waiting to take Drake last minute and there will be 4 safety's in this class.
Bring the Pain-
Heard he is liking what he is hearing so far and we might be close to losing another recruit..Also sounds like his mom and dad are for it..Bo needs to hire a full time recruiter ,because he lacks the skills to land the Big play makers we need ...
We need to find a way to avoid these kinds of kids with overly protective mothers. I don't know how you do that.
The distance thing really does seem to be a factor, but then why let your child commit to a place thats 800 miles away if you are just going to go back and try to sway his decision later on?
We need to find kids whose parents are welcoming the best opportunity rather than the closest opportunity. Once again, no idea how you do that. Getting to know the parents early on in the process couldn't hurt though.
Oath Before Orders
You mean like Newby (CA), Taylor, Stanton, Banderas, Newby (MD).
Geez - get a grip.
Yep. Don't see any way this doesn't turn out bad.
"Looking" for what, an offer from Youngstown State?
What's the deal Marcus, you want to go to school while living in your Mom's basement or something. Keep the meatloaf warm if practice runs late?
Looks like we better develop a screening process for our recruits that determines who's a lifelong homeboy and who isn't. Might save us some grief.
Hummm - I wouldn't bet on it either way right now.
I don't know if Marcus reads the mesage boards or not - but if he does I'm sure he prefers reading what they are saying on the Kentucky boards. Probably all 9 or 10 fans that they have who pay any attention to football are supporting him. Not so much on Husker boards - which is understanable.
