Also, look at Vince Youngs background and how he grew up and was raised compared to RGIII.....google who his parents are.....mentally he will be fine in the NFL.
The more man meditates upon good thoughts, the better will be his world and the world at large.
I don't know that he's inferior to Vince Young. That has yet to be seen.
The NFL has had a number of dual-threat types that have succeeded. They have to realign their instincts and sty in the pocket until they absolutely have to run. We agree on that.
The great running QB does bring another facet to the game, and scares the crap out of most Defensive Coordinators.
No offense, but nothing would please me more than for your prediction to turn out 100% wrong. I think you're going to be wrong, at least.
If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
I'd love to be wrong as I really like RGIII. Kid is as good a person as you'll find. Just haven't seen enough if him throwing the variety of passes needed to be an NFL QB.
At Baylor he was basically throwing screens or deep routes. There was rarely much else in between.
At the beginning of the season it was questionable that he would even be drafted. Now we are talking about him being the 2nd overall pick in the draft?
Did you watch every game RGIII played the last two years?
RGIII was on my Fantasy College Football team the last 2 years. He won the individual scoring title for me this year.
In the past 2 years, I have watched or followed every game he has played.
Games I watched him play the last 2 years:
2010: @ Wake Forest, @ TCU, Texas Tech, @ Texas, @ Oklahoma State, Oklahoma
2011: TCU, @ Kansas State, @ Texas A&M, @ Oklahoma State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas.
Does that make me an expert? No. But I think I have a pretty good idea of what RGIII has been asked to do while at Baylor the last 2 years.
How many games have you watched RGIII play much less interest you have had in his career at Baylor over the last 2 years?
i don't play fantasy league football. i think it's pretty stupid.
You think a lot of things are stupid and are never wrong.
Speaking of which, I think I'm going to start calling you Never Wrong, or NW from now on.
I dont play Fantasy College ball, but I play NFL Fantasy. And I think it is a great way to help keep in touch with friends, build relationships in the the work place, and relax a little.
One thing about RGIII, at one point in the season he had more td passes then incompletions. Somewhere around 12 tds to 7 incompletions. That stat there shows you the kid can play. Talk about seeing the whole field!
Well its looking like Manning will be a Bronco. The only other team in it is Arizona. It is being said that he has the Broncos on top. How sweat its going to be. I'm excited.
Oath Before Orders
What are you doing Miami?!?
ps. LOL Tebow. I guess Bronco fans will turn on him real quick when Peyton Manning is involved
I justttt saw a tweet from CBS' Football account referring to how local media for Denver, Arizona, and Miami all think they've got him.
Not trying to bust your chops, just curious.
I indulge in other pastimes to achieve those goals.
Just couldn't get into it, and never had the time.
You're really making this personal, aren't you?
Not surprising. Debating teams stay away from personal attack because any argument loses validity when it becomes all about your personal feelings. When a person is losing an argument, have you ever noticed how quickly they generally go to personal invective?
I'm really not interested in having a continuing, nasty series of disagreements with you. Suffice it to say I plan to not involve myself in your pettiness.
Of course, it would be easier if you didn't choose to come after me as well.

I think he is Vick #2 skill set wise. However he has something Vick never had. Intelligence.
College would be crazy to me. You would really have to do your research. There are always those guys that put up crazy numbers at some d1 school know one knows about. I can semi pay attention to NFL and have an idea what is going on. But yea it is an acquired activity.
Adam S and Morton have said its down to Zona and Denver. I am starting to think Zona might be jumping Denver. Should be interesting.
It will be one of those two, and to be honest, nobody knows which one it will be. I am hoping Denver obviously. Getting Manning over Tebow is a no brainer. I really do like Tebow though. But I like the thought of being a contender right now a little better.
Denver has the better defense of Zona no question. But I bet the possibility to play with Larry Fitz is a big draw for Manning. If Denver got him they would need to get him some pass catchers... maybe Dallas Clark..
Zona would have to release their starting LT to sign Peyton.
Denver can bring in his buddies and still add more.
Manning just left Zona. He spent 6 1/2 hours in Zona, and 24+ hours in Denver. I'm liking our.chances now.
Tennessee wants in now. We'll see what Mannings next move is.
Rumor is Peyton is headed back to Denver now. ESPN now reporting that Manning favors Denver. All per Vic Lombardi.

Too cold, his neck will literally break off in December.
Peyton to Denver. This is about to happen. Tebow will be traded, more than likely to Jax. I hate to see Tebow go, but am thrilled at having Manning.
I'm am excited, and I think most Broncos fans are saying the same. Things just got real in Denver.
Vic is connected. He says 95% now. And Peyton called Broncos tonight. I'm at a Broncos forum, much like here, and we have came to the conclusion that Vic's source is Elway. Vic is never wrong. He doesn't report what is second hand or b.s. unless he quotes Mort or Schefter. There's a lot of smoke screens out there. But Manning to Denver is becoming a reality.
I can confidently predict, Manning will soon be a Bronco. Wow. Love it.

Unbelievable. What a turn of events. Of course, the big question is just how good is his neck?
I believe he will be fine.
