I guess he never found the ignore button.
The argueing generally comes from a small group and is very easy to eliminate with the click of a button if you choose to do so.

Well said Klein. I was just thinking I'm going to start posting more to try and help gain some positive thinking around here again.
You shouldn't let what little negativity there is on here bother you. I mostly subscribe to this site for the great info they give on the program, not to read a bunch of arguments. You don't have to read all the messages on the board.
A boy, a Twitter page, and the aspiration that you follow him. It's what this country was founded upon.
What is all this stuff about negativity?? Where is it at cause I don't see it. If by negative people are referencing those who offer criticism of the program, coaching, recruiting, play, player development, records, etc. then, wow!!
Should we just stroke eachother every day? People disagree in life, it's how human interaction works.
I feel for those who cannot handle contrary thought and opinion. However, we all pay to be here so if you are not happy, then best of luck.
I don't think the board is overly negative. On the whole, I think there's good balance. However, I kind of see where OP is coming from.
There are a lot of people that have kneejerk negative reactions to every story that comes out. But this board also has its kneejerk optimists (if I'm being honest, I fall into this category myself). Both sides have their favorite talking points, and whenever the opportunity arises (and sometimes when it doesn't), they steer the conversation in those directions. It's frustrating how predictable the banter can be. It's frustrating how predictable my own posts are.
However, at the end of the day, I think the dialogue on this board is more open, honest, and respectful than any other. Yes, most people on this board have been condescending at some point -- I 100% include myself in that group -- but 99% of the time, people are cool. I think if you're going to participate on this board, you just have to accept that Panda sees the program for the glorified mid-major it really is, that Klein will have an opinion on everything, that nustudent has never been wrong about anything, that I'm always certain we're *this* close to a National Championship, [insert unfair stereotype about any other poster here]...but when you mix all of that together, somewhere in between the disparate "voices of reason", you'll find some truth.
And, hey -- if the you really find the conversation to be a huge drag and you need a break, just take up drinking and stop by Hops -- chillest thread on the board, hands down.

I hope OP will reconsider, and I'll reach out to him personally.
I don't like to see folks leave, obviously. I think this board is the best in the market in terms of news, features, and quality of posters. People do disagree. That will always happen. For the most part, the disagreements here are very civil and comparatively speaking VERY civil when looking at other boards, etc.
Of course, I am biased.
