BTW, sorry for the explitives, but they at pertinent to the discussion
We're a nicer, more well behaved, board over here, but we're not THAT straight laced man!
I cuss like a sailor for 3 hours every Saturday while watching the Huskers, during good play and bad.
On a lighter note, I selfishly appreciated Casey n company leaving, (and whoever the woman's group was). More elbow room for me.
Cause and effect.
I was only disappointed I missed the touchdown run, because I happened to be on the bottom of a pile of guys when this all went down.
Love night games, but this kind of stuff is no doubt happens more after a full day of drinking than an 11:00 game.
Hope you enjoyed the game otherwise though.

Welcome to the board sparky! Keep your posts coming! Uv brother. Hope you find this place enjoyable, by far the best place on the web.
Yikes! Talk about first-hand knowledge. Sorry you ended up in the middle.
I'm not condoning what the lady did/said at all, but man, you pull out the c-word on a woman in public and you better be prepared to pay a price. Dumb.
Who said drinking was involved?
I hope two sober people didn't engage in that behavior.
It is horrible it escalated to blows. I for one stand behind Casey on this one. First off he is in the player family section. If anyone should not talk about a player it should be another players relative.Just being in that section someone else should have shut her up, before it went to far. He probably should not have berated her ( if it was my kid i probably would have said the same things to her,). That being said. CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?
Just a wild guess.
Right on Z!
Thanks, sparky! Hope to see more of your contributions to the board.
I will say this. My son (10 at the time) and I were at a World Series game in KC, when Pete Rose was playing. There was a man (husband?) between us and a very drunk and disgusting woman that was spewing f-bombs and about anything else vile every 5 minutes at Pete Rose. I asked the guy if he was going to control her or was he going to leave it to me. He didn't do anything, so I got up and found a Security Patrolman and he came over and had to physically remove her from the game...that is what Mr. Martinez should have done, even though it was his son that was being denigrated.
...It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

World Series or All Star game?
Not sure the Royals ever played the Reds in the series, just the Phillies and Cards. I could be wrong though. I do know Rose played in the 77 (I think) AS Game.
Rose played for the Phillies against the Royals in the 1980 World Series.
There you go. I have to admit I did not know that. I was 3 at the time I guess. Dude, you're old!
Like fine wine, rich body, bold, yet mellow smoothness.
