All this talk about the need for cornerbacks and the seeming lack thereof in the 2013 recruiting class sent me on an early goose chase to look at what we are doing on the CB front so far for the 2014 class... obviously this is WAY early but as far as I can tell here is our list:
1. Parrker Westphal
2. Jay Scheel
3. Derrick Neal
That's all I could find that there seems to be interest in both parties. anyone else know? Obviously way super early in the process.
and I'm not even sure Scheel is a CB prospect...
Westphal is a heavy lean to Michigan right now.
And the problem with waiting until then....is that you are now expecting true freshmen to make significant contributions. That's why it's important to get 2 in this (2013) class so you don't have to rely on first year guys.
I agree, but obviously we need to take guys next year as well. That's the point of this thread.
I will be posing the full offer list tonight and I will also show how it compares to the numbers at Ohio State. There are a couple of positions with several more offers out than others. I suspect that will change over the next couple of months...especially during the evaluation period.
Here are a few more CB offers i found
D' Andre Payne
Chris Hardeman ...LSU

I also trust Bo in developing DBs. 100%
I will not worry about this issue until like signing day. The one like 400 days from now.
