"Michigan, Maryland and Rutgers to Leaders," "Wisconsin and Illinois to Legends."
There's a good chance two more schools could be added before the Big Ten makes its announcement on divisional realignment this spring. However, per our source, if the league has 14 teams, it will be Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers in the Leaders Division; and Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern and Wisconsin in the Legends Division.
Good stuff Lando, thanks
Im good with that. Sounds like a smooth path to championships for me.
Edit. Sets up for Nebraska in the Big Game every year. Kind of curious how Michigan feels about this. Thought they would try to keep us together.

NEBRASKA FOOTBALL= Great Players, Great Coaches, AMAZING PEOPLE
Too long a post. Did not read
Thanks for the info Lando. I'd be fine with those divisions.
I am sorry, must be that Miami education you got.
Lando, Any insight on the 2 potential schools joining the B1G? I've seen some chatter about Ga Tech, UVa, UNC and even FSU.
Doesn't seem evenly matched if you go by historical competitiveness. It looks like we lose out on playing Michigan every year in that scenario too. I don't like the prospects of having years where we don't play either tOSU or Michigan.
Wisconsin vs Nebraska....Thanksgiving weekend game PLEASE let that happen
Goal in life is to make the Huskers Illustrated Hall Of Fame
I'll go ahead and co-sign that.
New Legends = old Big 12 North
x a kibizillion.
Not yet, it depends on what happens with PSU. MSU and WU aren't going anywhere yet. I'm more curious about who may be added. I had heard KU was getting a sniff at one point.
...It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

Wisconsin vs. Nebraska Thanksgiving weekend would be great, this Iowa thing is not really something I look forward to or get excited about, I would love a Wisky game the day after Thanksgiving to look forward to every year!!!
Wisky & MSU are quality programs. I was inferring that the Leaders might be viewed as the stronger division with Mich & OSU being akin to Oklahoma & Texas.
I'm with Nolan... Can we please then play Wisconsin on the day after Thanksgiving and drop Iowa who wants to move the game to Saturday so they can get to their Wal-Mart sales on Black Friday?
