Taylor's second. Thoughts?
Ranking the Big Ten Quarterbacks for 2013
Pretty fair. Though I'd put Nelson at Minnesota over Bench right now
Sounds right to me. I would swap Gardner and Colter in the 3 and 4 slot. I find it amazing how far Nathan Scheelhaase's stock has plummeted.
Maybe its just me, but I don't get the Miller hype. He and Taylor have comparable numbers yet Miller is a top Heisman candidate and Taylor isn't.
Miller has wiggle. TM has none. Miller has better throwing motion. Aside from that they're pretty similar
My guess would be that Miller had a better season (regarding team record) than Taylor. As much as I hate that its not about the 'big picture', it seems that you have to be the best player on of the best teams in order to be considered a contender.
Put me down for a vote for Devin Gardner being biggest bust among the QBs.
I'd take Taylor over Miller but that has more to do with injury concerns.

Fewer turnovers...less weapons around him on offense....undefeated season last year. Those factors fuel the hype.
Taylor and Miller put up similar numbers. It's the eye test that makes people lean towards Miller.

Teein' Off on Links
I think it's fair... Ohio State went undefeated last year. Taylor is much tougher than Braxton though and has shown that. Braxton stubs his toe and has to come out for a series. I'd be surprised if Miller stayed healthy through the season.
Devin Gardner at 3 is interesting... this is based off of limited time as a freshmen (in which he did not impress) and factors in his 5 starts as a sophomore. I could see him having difficulty as starter from day one. I always thought he was a better threat at receiver for them, but I guess they don't have many options right now.
The only other change I would make is I would put Nelson above both Bench and Maxwell.
Makes me smile to see Iowa 12th

Was thinking the same thing. He seemed poised for some serious amazingness. I hope he ends his career on a decent note (except when playing NU).
Nebraska Old Gold Knights
Me too. It's that Brax gets weird injuries. Takes him out of the game for a couple plays or longer then he's right back like nothing happened. Weird. Too many of those at the right times and OSU's got problems. Braxton is strangely injury prone.
Your team. All the time.
Look back at the preseason for 2011, and you could have made a reasonable argument for Scheelhaase as the best QB in the Big 10.
2 years later and it isn't out of the question that he may be the worst starting QB in the Big 10.
Getting hurt a bunch and having no skill player talent around him hasn't helped Scheelhaase's cause much to be fair
yep... plus a below average OL. Get rid of AJ Jenkins and they have absolutely nothing on offense. And with no OL their posession receivers have no time to get open. Scheelhaase is talented but he can't do it all.
