Yet another record was broken today when 73 players formally pledged their early enrollment to be eligible for this year's NFL draft.
Not shockingly, this broke the record set last year.
Perhaps the most impressive is the 11 players from LSU (yes that includes Tyrann Mathieu, so 10 who actually suited up and played for the Tigers this year.).
Wes NFL draft. This morning, the NFL released its list of 73 underclassmen who have been granted “special eligibility” for the draft by being at least three years removed from high school before declaring.
Have to leave earlier, to get paid earlier, since the rookie salary cap was put in place.
They lost 11 players and they might win 11 games next year with the talent they have every year.
Didn't see any Nebraska kids on that list.................

The rookie salary cap only affects the top half of the 1st round of the draft.
What does that have to do with the other 65 guys listed?
