The Big Ten is wide open. If Nebraska wants it, its there. Agreed?
No reason we shouldn't look at ourselves as the favorite in this division and the more I watch OSU, I think we should be the favorite for a Rose Bowl. Things seem to be coming together, the UCLA loss sucks, but it also forced our coaches to take a hard look at personnel.
Lets wait and see with the personel. Wait until we play a team that forces us to defend. As much as the coaches can say the last 2 teams really force you to defend, the talent difference alone makes that a mute point. I want to see how this team communicates against a spread like Northwestern that has decent talent. Also, this week will be our first test against a team that should be able to run the ball. Lets see how that goes before we say we are the favorites. Remember, the sky was falling less than two weeks ago.

Aaaaaaah! Its just too early for that! OSU the allegedly best team in B1G is on probation even if they win the championship they may not see the light for a BCS game. PSU is also on probation and not going anywhere either; so that B1G championship picture may change on a weekly basis similar to last year! Just be patient and take one game at time. What's your take on that?

I'm looking out more than in.
OSU is ineligible and has looked clunky at times.
Wisconsin and Michigan are beatable, and more importantly, home games.
At OSU, and MSU will be tough, possibly NW as well, however we finish with three very easily winnable games, especially when Iowa looks like a diaper fire.
The Big Ten is there for anyone's taking. Nebraska is in no better position than anyone, besides maybe Iowa and Illinois.
Seriously, don't get it twisted. We beat Southern Miss, Arky Lite, and Idaho St., nothing to talk about. Anything is possible in the Big Ten, but to be anything more than hopeful is koolaid drinking.
We have a gauntlet of a schedule to run through first. I don't see us going undefeated between now and Penn St.
