Anyone have any advice on nightlife or sites to see?

Tijuana is a very short drive away.
Don't give into temptation, that place is a hole.
A boy, a Twitter page, and the aspiration that you follow him. It's what this country was founded upon.
San Diego is great. Its absolutely gorgeous especially by the ocean if you're into scenery. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.
There's this restaurant we (the UNL speech/debate team) always eat at when we go to San Diego. It's called Island Prime. Expensive but great. If you're bringing a wife/lady friend with you to SD then its a must-go. Super classy, great food. You'll spend like $30-40 for a steak though, so be ready.
Resting on stilts atop San Diego Bay overlooking the city skyline and Coronado, there’s nowhere better than Island Prime C Level to experience quintessential San Diego.
Do yourself a favor and go up to LaJolla and have lunch or something. Absolutely gorgeous out there along the water.
Coronado isn't half bad either.
Also, if we're being technical, it's German for a whale's vagina.
San Diego is great. It's a bit sleepy at night, but so many great people! There are a lot of fun areas and some of my favorite restaurants are there. I especially like some breakfast spots. The Big Kitchen is one great morning spot. I'm attaching a menu. Also, The Mission is awesome for breakfast. They have killer sweet corn tamales.
Night life... that's tough. I'm an old punk, so I like the Casbah for live music. Mr. Bruntz is right, you need to go to La Jolla. Go down to the tide pools if you are fascinated by marine biology at all. And if that's your things, the Birch/Scripps Aquarium is magnificent!
I think I'm going to the Poinsettia Bowl and the Holiday Bowl there this year. Let me know if you'll be there then.
The best San Diego breakfast can be found at the Big Kitchen Cafe. Take a look at our extensive breakfast menu and then come on in and make sure you're hungry!
The Mission Restaurant, with three San Diego locations, is one of the top 25 best breakfast spots in the country.

At the Mission right meow. I think you are right. This place is awesome. Ordered the breakfast tamales!
I was always a big fan of Crystal Pier and PETCO Park. La Jolla area is gorgeous. Especially around Torrey Pines. If you want an awesome drive, though a bit longer, head toward Palm Springs on hwy 74 through the mountains. It's unbelievable.
I don't know what happened to all of my pics, but here are a couple of the coast. by Torrey Pines.
Feed me to the wolves, and I will return leader of the pack. #FreeDA
That's great! I think I'm going down THU for the Poinsettia Bowl. Will you still be there?
I'm leaving Tuesday morning. Never want to leave. I'm a fan of Chicago but I could used to this city
