Maryland Terrapins to join Big Ten; Rutgers Scarlet Knights to join as well, sources say - ESPN
Maryland's Board of Regents voted Monday to accept an invitation to join the Big Ten and begin competition in the conference in the 2014-15 academic year.

I don't mind Illinois. They were actually in the Rose Bowl a few years ago. I think a Mark Sanchez led USC team crushed them. They are pretty much Missouri. A school with pretty good in-state talent that can't keep any of it. If they do move to our side, Ohio State should punch their ticket to the title game every year. Wisconsin is the only team that will put up a fight annually, where we have Michigan, Michigan State and Iowa.
Illini not as strong as Mizzou, and that's okay. Do the cross-over games stay? This actually will help Nebraska in recruiting as we'll be the west coast team. All of a sudden our weather can be a positive.
Who's the duffus that created that map? No South Dakota? That's where I grew up. What a slam.
