According to recent comments by Bo, Cross is apparently looking more stream lined in winter conditioning. Pelini said he was "taken aback" when he saw Cross, evidently surprised that he had lost weight.
Nothing more was said, but Cross might be trying to play a few pounds lighter in 2013. If it led to a little more spring in his step, he might see the field more.

BTW, you guys should be congratulating me on reaching the 1000 post milestone! Took me 22 months to get there, but I made it.
And oh yeah, I've still used less than a handful of down votes in that 22 months, although I probably could have used a 1000 of those if I had wanted to.
