    I'll go with dense.

Dog bit me BAD yesterday so I'm grouchy. (My 16 year old dog doesn't jump so well anymore so I was gonna pick her up and startled her. My fault.)

Anyway, I didn't say Cody was a bozo on campus, just sucked at playing. OK, maybe he was just a below average player. Either way still a football judgement.

Cody Green was just named starter for the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes. Lets all wish Cody well

So. What up with Harrison Beck? How about every other former member of the Husker team that didn't make it? Sorry, who really cares?...nice kid...wish him the best...but really about two people could care past that.

Well, I want a "review" from the booth (mods?) and I'm hoping for a reversal.

To be honest, I'm floored you still have 2 stars.

    27 rating?

What are you Dukakis? You need to find a Geraldine Ferraro to get you down to 1 star.

    Wow.

What does Harrison Beck have to do with anything regarding Cody Green?

Cody has, and was, a complete class act at Nebraska.

    We should wish him well.

Things didn't work out for him here, but he did the travel as a former 4* committing to our school out of Dayton, TX. A pretty good grab at the time.

Kid did nothing wrong at Nebraska. Just wasn't likely to ever play, much less start his Junior and Senior years. He had a classy leaving from Nebraska as well.

Look, there have been a lots of classy kids come through, not to the end, of the program. Cody is one. Like I said, he's a great kid, wish him well; but he's water under the bridge...not in our program...I don't care to linger on about him. And, I could not care less if that offends anyone. Dead horse, quit beating it...he means zip, zero, nada to this program anymore. Take the time to follow some kid that actually is in the program, someone that means something to it, and root for him.

I think many feel the way Zonie does. Who really cares? He was a bust here but some loved him b/c he "looked" like a star or gave great quotes until he quit at NU (much like Joe D.)

Why should we spend all this time on someone that left b/c he was behind Brion Carnes on the depth chart?

The Cody bust by the coaches really hurt this program.

I wish him all the success in the world, but Taylor will be playing against the Big Ten while Cody will be playing against Conference USA. The level of defense played in those two conferences is so different that comparing the two QBs seasons would be like comparing an apple with a whale.

Wow, I got a downvote for this...? fingergun

Zonie, the agenda boys have to have a fervent example they can point at as often as possible in order to push their agenda.

"See, this kid is succeeding at another school while we're not winning championships with Bo's anointed QB!"

    wah, wah, wah……cry

    well stated DA.

Forget how cody continually failed to impress (Baylor, ISU, OU, UW etc, etc) over 2 years and 3 springs. Even his W's versus weak team weren't much to see.

I think some of them just want to see Cody do well because he's a good kid... the others that want to complain might as well just become fans of Boise State so they can see their team win every year in an overrated conference.

I'm sure some are, and there are still a fair number who have that agenda to champion.

  • I will pull for cody because he was a former husker. I wish no ill will players that have left or transferred. I will watch cody play as a golden hurricane, not only because I want to watch him, but because I am a fan of the game and probably would have watched the game, or atleast a part of it whether he was on the team or not. Now I will pull for tulsa unless they are playing us. Why wouldn't I want a former player to succeed?
