Whether Rome left yesterday or during the Summer isn't going to change the fact that DT is a complete dumpster fire right now. Have we ever had a bigger recruiting need in recent memory than a JUCO DT this last cycle?

Bo said he old kids he recruited this cycle to get ready cuz they are playing. We are going to going to see alot of youngsters in 2013. We have a lot of young talent. They are playing earlier than they thought and coach Kaz is going to gettin prove his worth in '13

I like Maurice and Collins, but they'r enot ready made. Neither of them is going to come in and plug the gap. Look at our depth: Thad Randle. Kevin Williams. Toby Okuyemi. Jay Guy. Aaron Curry, Vincent Valentine. Maliek Collins. Kevin Maurice.
We have exactly 8 scholarship DTs right now. 2 have bad knees. 2 haven't played a snap and were on scout team THROUGH their rs-so seasons. 2 are redshirt freshmen. 2 are true freshmen.
What looks good about that situation? The fact that we as a staff couldn't pull in one solid JUCO prospect at the DT spot does not bode well for 2013.

I 100% agree we needed a JUCO and missed on that opportunity. but saying we are worse because Rome is gone is a stretch IMO. agree to disagree i suppose but as i said even if Rome were to remain here from what ive heard he may not have started next season anyway. if he was still here i'd even be willing to bet he wouldn't start.

Right with you here Juke.
I am trying to move on, because I have been mad about this for a few months.
I am now deciding its over and im moving on. I am ready to see how these youngins develop. It's my favorite part of watching college football.
But damn a Toby Johnson and hooks would have been nice.

As I said above..even if Rome is asking forgiveness a second time...the team has a reason to forgive him, His presence gives us a better chance on the field. Forgiving Rome, even if for the second, third time, can be beneficial in the grand scheme of things. You don't have to be best friends with the guy.
I have no reason to forgive you in your example.

there is nothing to forgive within that hypothetical question. its a good example. apparently you have soft skin i should have directed it towards anyone else on the board like beardown, snc, or anyone for that matter to prove my point. i wasn't attacking you i was posing a hypothetical situation. which is a good example for the situation.

There's nothing to forgive? Why did you ask the question then? Not soft skin....I'm answering your hypothetical situation/question and you seem to forget you posed it. It's an entirely different dynamic.
