Watch some video of this guy... He is gonna be awesome! I called this guy getting hired a week ago. For you haters, please please please do some research on what this guy just did at Colorado State.... The mountain west is no joke in basketball. If we didn't get this guy someone else was going to. He was very much in play for the Illinois job according to many outlets. I think this guy is gonna take Husker hoops to a whole new level within 3 or 4 years. With the facilities and new Arena, I am extremely confident that he will be able to recruit some talent like we have not had since the Née era. Would I have liked to see Shaka Smart or Groce in Lincoln.... Absolutely, but it was not going to happen. Tim Miles might end up being better than both those guys anyway... I have not seen a more personable coach and he really did work wonders at csu. I love this hire. I think we wil all love this hire sooner than later. Seems like a genuinely great guy. I like that he is fit and really connects with everyone he is speaking with. If he brings Coleman as well.... Bonus! Best thing is that we are getting him relatively cheap compared to what rumors were out there about what we were willing to pay... 1.4 ain't bad at all. ... Steal.
