  • Bo needs to do nothing but be Bo. Be the guy who brought ferocious defenses back to Nebraska in 2003 then again 5 years ago. Quit worrying about trying to be what Nebraskans want him to be...which is a Tom Osborne clone. News flash Husker fans, TO is gone, and there will probably never be a man that carries themselves the way TO did and still does. Bo has admitted the need to keep evolving and improving as a coach and as the face of this program, and we all can agree on that. There is so much more that he has to deal with now as a coach than TO ever did...but I think he does a more than adequate job with making sure his STUDENT athletes do the things they need to do off the field and in the classroom, which matters most. The wins are coming, and they will continue to come. I think his pro's far outweigh the con's...and I'd rather have him on our sidelines than the opposing teams.

  • I dont agree with Lando many times but Bo needs to give the Blackshirts out to start the season. If the level of play is not what it should be that is on Bo, recruit better.

    14 to 25 guys don't EARN Blackshirts. They are given out like free candy.

    The Blackshirt tradition = Given out at the end of Fall camp. ONLY to the starters. If you lose your starting position, you lose your Blackshirt.

    Bo's is, whenever I feel like it, and anyone can have one.

    An achievement is getting the starting position on a Nebraska D. Sorry you dont think so. If you dont start you haven't earned one. So lets just say Screw all of our traditions , they dont matter in college football anyways. Right.

    The tradition of the blackshirts is put a defense on the field that nebraskas fan base can be proud of. Simple as that. Bo does that. Get off his back, this is so childish is unbelievable that we have to go through this again and again and again. If a player contributes on the field and plays an important role in delivering on that goal, then he should get his reward.

    I didnt do the segment. I just watched it. I left the other board because if this issue. A writer, mod said i was trolling about this. But it really pisses me off.

    You didn't do the piece, but you brought it here. I don't think you are trolling, I just think this hatred you have for Bo pushes you to find fault in every little thing. It's a lot like our current political environment.
