Bo was hired for his Defensive mind

One more time please but try and make sense and/or speak more clearly. What category? And how are we rated high? What side of the ball? We give up 70pts or more every year to someone? That's news to me. Please show stats backing this up.

    *why aren't we rated high.
    Auto correct I hate iPhones

We're you not there for the wisky game or the Ohio state games or the USC game

    Is that stat enough

  • Question for everyone. Would it make some sense for Bo to send out an assistant coach for a day of full recruiting every week in season but make sure and switch up which coach it was until the talent level is built back up?

For example have a coach fly out for visits Sunday night to a State and hit as many recruits as possible on Monday (and Sunday night for dinner too) and then fly back late Monday night. Seems they take the season off with recruiting, which we saw this year.

It's good to be the King.

I suppose... but I have a few questions: 1. Is in home visiting during the season legal? 2. Do other school's do it? 3. How would it affect game planning and coaching during the week?

  • I truly believe that Bo is the answer for us.
I want what he has to offer to the state and the university and no one is saying its an easy job by all means.

I think if he bust his tail on that side of the ball kids would be lining up to play for him. Now read my lips. I didn't say he wasn't its just not showing. Why do we have to work any harder the LSU or UCLA to get the best or even Alabama (smile).

+1 TA. Finally an answer on how do we change this. You are one of the first posters that has presented an option. I dont know if this is legal, im pretty ignorant on in season rules. Second, im not sure I like the idea of say kaz going off to California or wherever when they could be preparing for the next opponent. I do like your presentation of an idea though. It would be interesting to see the rules on this

You know I am not sure to be honest. Maybe the coaches could meet with the parents and the high school coaches instead and do the ole accidentally bump into the player routine...? shrug

we only gave up 70 pts in one of those games that you mentioned and the USC game was what 6 years ago? I get your point and I don't like the blow outs either but saying that we give up 70 every year is untrue which is why I asked for stats. The final score isn't always indicative of the state of your program. This too shall pass, things will get better.

  • I see your point but the USC game wasn't that far back. I've only been in JVille 4-5 years and I watched it on the big TV in the landing.
