BSBL: Fmr Husker signee P Matt Strahm makes 1st appearance

  • Don't know if many will be interested, but I've taken an interest in how our recent Husker connected MLB draftees fair as they start their pro baseball careers.

    Last night, Husker signee Matt Strahm made a brief appearance in relief for the Idaho Falls Chukars, pitching 0.2 innings, giving up 1 hit, 5 runs, 3 walks, for a 13.50 ERA. He had 1K. Chukars won, 16-14.

    Also, Justin Black started in center field for the GLC Braves, he went 0-3 with 3 K's and 1 RBI.

    Richard Stock did not play for the Mahoney Valley Scrappers last evening.

    Kale Kiser's Bristol White Soxx start play this evening. No word if he will be in the line-up yet that I could find.

    Thanks for the update, Hipp. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd love the occasional update.

  • Tues night, Richard Stock played DH for the MV Scrappers going 0-4 with 1 strike out.

    Kale Kiser started in LF for the Bristol White Sox and was 9th in the batting order. He never got to hit being pitch hit for in the 3rd and was done for the night.

    Justin Black did not play this evening.
