meh....I didn't want to lose Prado. Essentially all it did was free up some money next season. Stats wise, it seems pretty even to me.

Sucks you had to give up Delgado, i like him i was excited when that trade last year was agreed that the braves traded him to the cubs for Dempster before Ryan didn't want to go to Atlanta

That could be a good reason, they traded him while they could. Havent kept up with it as much lately. Both Uptons in the outfields not a bad trade thou. Although i liked Bourn as well, atleast they got comparable replacements.

Yes, Prado wanted more money than the Braves were going to be willing to give.

I like it. Nothing drops in that outfield. Loved Prado but he was going to be a FA next year. Kept our top pitching prospects, Delgado will be missed but Tehran was the 1 I wanted to keep.

Yeah, losing Delgado sucks but Tehran is the top guy.

I was excited as a Cubs fan when reports were Dempster was going to be traded to Atlanta for Delgado before he pussed out.
I think he'll be a hell of a pitcher

Wish I would have saw this earlier. I like the trade. Yep Prado is a FA next year so it's a good move. I'm ok with losing Delgado. Now if only the Cubs will trade for Popeye
