Kunalic kicked a ball out of bounds and Asante horse collar tackled)2010: Started RS-FR QB... competed for conference championship again... jumped out to 17-7 lead and lost by 4 due to a RS-FR throwing an INT in the end-zone. 2011: Changes conferences, loses best players on Defensive line and Secondary for most of season. Takes control of division after dominating performance over MSU but loses the lead in a loss to Northwestern. 2012: 7-2 with some resilient wins and controls his own destiny in the B1G. Again looks like we're competing for conference championship
In 2008 no one expected any coach to come in and win a conference title right away. So throwing that season out Bo Pelini has had us in (if we project to getting there this year) the conference championship game in 3 out of 4 years. Not bad I would say.

It simply isn't fun anymore. There used to be debate, good natured, but now it is mostly rhetoric. Agree with the masses, love our coach, love our qB, be happy with where we are at, or SHUT THE EFF UP.
As Scarlet so eloquently put it a few posts up, Jesus Y'all, I get it. You are fine with where we are at. You are ok with what we have accomplished. One should not question the process.
Therefore I won't.

I'm not piling on. Just making an observation. I have always stated that I appreciate m/k's candor, and have never taken him to task for his opinions. I'm one of the good guys here, and would think that m/k wouldn't cut and run just because of a handful of folks that argued with him.
The observation is that I was surprised that m/k had such a fragile ego over forum arguments that he publicly decided to walk out of the forum and fray. I just had more respect for him than that.
I most certainly don't like to see any member leave due to a pretty civil disagreement, which I believe was the case herein.
I wish him the best, that isn't an endorsement of wanting him to leave.
