  • Completely shocked that none of the 3 in O'Brien, Kelly, or Mora didn't jump to the NFL when all had opportunities to do so.

    Thought it was a lock either O'Brien or Kelly (or both) would have jumped ship.

    NFL hires are usually never fluid or as obvious as you might think, at least from an outsider's point of view.

    Me too, I really thought Chip Kelly was gone.

    Mora never had that opportunity.

  • Honestly im pretty surprised by this hire, not taking anything away from McCoy but that guy has got to have had the easiest OC job in the entire NFL, I was watching an interview with Payton Manning and some of the Bronco's offense and they say that the majority of the time they audible out of the play called to conform to what the defense is showing, and alot of times dont even call a play till Manning see's what the defense is showing (yes i know most teams, high school thru pros have audibles, but its different with Manning, pretty much ya have an Offensive Coordinator as QB. I know Manning is a great QB and is very smart, but he has made McCoy look very good this year, and I am in no way a Bronco fan, unfortunately im a fan of a certain silver and black team which at the current time and for the last 20 years has pretty much stunk up the field, except for about 2 years in 00 01. Anyways, maybe McCoy is gonna be a great coach, but at the same time ya gotta think Manning made him look spectacular this year

    He earned most his respect around the league last year. This year topped it off. He is smart and adapts really well to his talent.

    However, for some reason I am really glad he's gone. It's time to bring in someone who (whisenhunt) who will call his game and not let Fox handcuff him. Fox needs someone who can break him out of his extreme conservatism. Whis will do that. McCoy wouldn't dare question Fox.

    And San D along with Oakland will be owned by Denver for the foreseeable future now. lol.
